The Passenger that was reported in critical condition in the crash detailed below from earlier today has died.

On September 7, 2023, at approximately 9:50 A.M., officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department responded to Dawkins Road and Ryan Road, reference a personal injury crash involving two motor vehicles.
Upon arrival, officers and medics located a semi tractor trailer and a van that were involved in the crash. A preliminary investigation indicated the semi tractor trailer was southbound on Ryan Road and struck the van, which was eastbound on Dawkins Road.
The adult female driver of the van was transported to a local hospital in fair condition. The adult female passenger of the van was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The adult male driver of the semi tractor trailer was transported to a local hospital in fair condition.
This incident remains under investigation.
