Allen County Sheriff’s Department investigates suspicious death

On Tuesday October 20, 2026, at approximately 1100am, officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the 11400 block of Fox Valley Run, regarding an Unknown Problem.  Officers arrived on the scene and located a gentleman laying on a bed covered in blood. Medics with the Northwest Allen County Fire District pronounced the man deceased at the scene. The gentleman’s death is considered suspicious, however, there is no threat to the general public. Detectives with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department are processing the scene at this time. The identity of the deceased along with a cause of death will be released at a later date by the Allen County Coroner’s Office. The investigation is active and ongoing. The Allen County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Northwest Fire District, Allen County Coroner’s Office, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
