On April 23, 2026, at approximately 7:29 p.m., officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 8800 block of Flutter Road regarding a reported personal injury crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, officers and medics located the crash on private property. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.

Dispatch advised that the crash involved two passenger vehicles and that one individual was pinned inside a vehicle.
