Fatal crash in Eastern Allen County

On Friday September 12,2025, at approximately 3:10pm, officers with the Allen County Sheriffs Department were dispatched to the 15300 blk of Rohman Rd in reference to a crash involving a motorcycle. Police and East Central Fire & EMS Protection Territory arrived on the scene and located a motorcyclist off the south side of Rohman Rd. The adult motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS personnel. Witnesses reported that the motorcycle was westbound on Platter Rd approaching the intersection of Rohman Rd when it passed an uninvolved vehicle. The motorcycle was approaching the curve on Rohman Rd east of Milan Ctr Rd at a high rate of speed, crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound SUV. The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department and the Allen County Coroner’s Office. The identify of the motorcyclist will be released by the Allen County Coroner’s Office at a later date.
