Shooting at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum

At approximately 2140 hours, officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department and the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a reported shooting at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Responding officers located the 21-year-old male victim in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to his foot. The victim had been a spectator of the Wayne High School graduation and was outside at the time of the shooting. The Victim was transported to an area hospital in fair condition. The shooter(s) remain at large. This incident is being investigated by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office. Detectives and Crime Scene units are on the scene investigating. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Allen County Sheriff’s Department or Crimestoppers.

Shooting Investigation 

May 28 2025

On May 28, 2025, at approximately 4:16 p.m., the Allen County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 1000 block of Townsend Run following reports of a disturbance involving juveniles. Callers indicated that several juveniles appeared to be fighting over a firearm, and that one juvenile had been shot in the leg.
