On December 10, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department and the Northwest Fire District responded to a report of a vehicle-versus-tree crash.
Upon arrival, officers and medics located a tan Honda Accord off the south side of Crawford Road, west of Tonkel Road.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the Honda was traveling eastbound on Crawford Road when, for unknown reasons, it left the south side of the roadway and struck a tree. The 67-year-old male driver was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center in life-threatening condition.
This incident remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
