On August 20, 2025, at approximately 5:50 p.m., officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the 7400 block of Milan Center Rd. regarding a dispatched call of a motorcyclist striking some trees.
Upon arrival, officers located a motorcycle and a male driver, on Milan Center Rd. north of Doty Rd. A bystander initially performed CPR and officers arriving on scene took over emergency life saving attempts that were ultimately unsuccessful.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Milan Center Rd. at a high rate of speed and lost control. The motorcycle drove off the east side of the roadway, striking a mailbox and then several trees.
Medics pronounced the male driver deceased at the scene. The individual was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.

On Monday September 8, 2025, at approximately 3:00pm, officers with the Allen County Sheriffs Department were dispatched to the intersection of E. Ferguson Rd and Muldoon Rd in reference to a reported crash with injuries.

At approximately 4:36 a.m., officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the area of Flaugh Road and West California Road in response to a reported crash involving a Ford SUV and a Chevrolet pickup truck.
