Visitation

VISITATION POLICY:

Inmates are permitted a maximum three (3) visitors per visitation day, to be split into two (2) twenty minute sessions with no more than two (2) visitors per session. (see visitation schedule below).

All visitors MUST have a valid ID. No one under the age of eighteen is allowed in the lobby during visitation hours. Dress code is strictly enforced for jail visitation. Visitors are not allowed to wear shorts, skirts, sleeveless shirts, midriff shirts, sleepwear, hats, scarves or any other clothing the visitation staff deems inappropriate for the environment. Visitors are not allowed to bring in any weapons, smoking material, electronic devices, purses, backpacks, books, or any other prohibited item.

ALLEN COUNTY JAIL VISITATION RULES

Visitors must have a valid photo ID. No firearms, pocket knives, or lighters. No unattended children are allowed in the Jail lobby. No purses, handbags, cellular telephones or electronic equipment will be allowed in the visitation area. All visitors are subjected to search at any time. All visitors are “non-contact.”

DRESS CODE:

Females – No shorts, short dresses, halter tops, sleeveless blouses, t-shirts or bare midriff type clothing.
Males – No shorts or tank tops.

Shoes must be worn at all times and all hats must be removed when entering the building.
