 Two Vehicle Crash Leaves One Person Dead and One Person with Minor Injuries

Details:

At approximately 7:47 a.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a two vehicle crash on Indianapolis Road, north of W. Hamilton Road.  Investigating officers determined that a silver Chrysler Town & Country Mini-van was southbound on Indianapolis road when for an unknown reason, the male driver crossed the center line and struck a northbound Ford F-350 Pick-up truck. The male driver and sole occupant of the northbound Ford F-350 received minor injuries.  The male driver and sole occupant of the southbound Mini-van died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.  The identity of the deceased victim, cause and manner of death, will be released by the Allen County Coroners Office. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts.
