Two People Injured in Dump Truck/Passenger Car Crash

Details:

On Friday, September 18, 2020 at approximately 12:27 p.m., Allen County Police Officers responded to the intersection of Dawkins road and Ryan road for a crash involving a dump truck and a passenger car.  Upon arriving and after conducting the initial investigation, it was determined that the driver of the passenger car was southbound on Ryan road before running the stop sign and pulling into the path of the Dump Truck that was eastbound on Dawkins road.  The dump truck hit the passenger car in the passenger side. The female driver of the passenger car was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.  The driver of the Dump Truck received serious injuries. The crash is under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
