At approximately 6:30 p.m., Saturday, August 11th, 2018, officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s department responded to Flaugh road south of Leesburg Road for a reported traffic crash. When officers arrived, they found that a black Chevrolet Impala had been traveling southbound on Flaugh Road when it drove into the northbound lane and struck a motorcycle head on. The motorcycle was occupied by a male and a female. The male was deceased at the scene and the female was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries. The female driver of the passenger car was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. 2 juveniles in the passenger car were treated and released at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
