Two Adults Critical, Two Children Serious After Two Vehicle Crash
At approximately 12:12 p.m., Sunday, March 27th, 2016, officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s department responded to the I-69 ramp at Lower Huntington Road for a reported traffic crash. When officers arrived they found that a grey Honda Civic had been traveling Northbound on I 69 when it exited the highway and failed to yield at the bottom of the ramp and Lower Huntington Road. A Silver Toyota 4-Runner was eastbound on Lower Huntington Road when it struck the Honda Civic. 2 Adults in the Honda were transported to a local hospital in critical condition, an 8-year-old and a 2-year-old also in the Honda were transported in serious condition. The driver of the Toyota received minor injuries and was not transported to a hospital. The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
