Traffic Crash Leaves One Person Critical

Details:

The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of S.R. 37 and Notestine Road.  At approximately 7:02 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, a White passenger van was westbound on Notestine Road when it failed to stop at the stop sign, and drove into the path of a Semi truck that was southbound on S.R. 37.  The male driver, and only occupant of the van, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition by ambulance. The male driver of the semi was not injured.   It is unknown at this time why the van failed to stop at the intersection.  The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
