The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is Looking for Information on Counterfeit Bills being Circulated

On February 5th, 2021 at 6:05 a.m. members of the Allen County SWAT Team executed a search warrant in the 10900 block of South County Line Road West in Zanesville. The warrant was obtained after an investigation in reference to counterfeiting. Detectives with the Allen County Detective Bureau became involved when counterfeit one hundred-dollar bills started showing up at businesses in northeast Allen County, Grabill, Leo and Harlan. The suspects would make a small purchase with the fake one hundred-dollar bills and receive real money back in change. Detectives arrested Madison Walker F/W/24 from Fort Wayne and Sarah Roe F/W/45 From Zanesville. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information or who may have received one of the counterfeit bills is asked to call Detective Gabe Furnish with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department at (260)449-7413.
