The autopsy and notification to the next of kin have been completed on the female black found deceased in the 300 block of East Esmond Street, on Sunday October 25, 2015. The deceased has been positively identified as JoeDasia Hunter, female black age 20, from Fort Wayne, Indiana. JoeDasia Hunter was pronounced dead at the scene and taken to the NEIFC for autopsy.

The Cause of Death was determined to be Gunshot Wound(s) and the Manner of Death is Homicide.

JoeDaisa Hunter is the 27th homicide in Allen County for 2015. This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Coroner’s Office and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
