One Person Serious After Morning Crash

Details:

On Wednesday, January 4th 2023, at approximately 6:40 a.m., Allen County Police Officers responded to the intersection of Hawks Wood Trace and Minnich Road for a crash involving an SUV and a Motorcycle. Upon arriving, and after conducting the initial investigation, it was determined that the female driver of the Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control SUV was turning northbound onto Minnich road from Hawks Wood Trace when it collided with the southbound Harley Davison Motorcycle.  The female driver of the SUV and her female passenger were not injured.  The male driver of the Motorcycle, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
