One Person Killed in a car Vs. Semi Head on Collision

Details:

On Monday, October 12, 2020 at approximately 5:19 a.m., Allen County Police Officers responded to the 11900 block of Bluffton road south of Winters road for a crash involving a Semi hauling 30,000 pounds of axles and a 2006 Ford Taurus.  Upon arriving and after conducting the initial investigation, it was determined that for unknown reasons the driver of the Ford Taurus which was northbound on Bluffton road crossed the center line and struck the southbound Semi head on.  The male driver, and sole occupant of the Taurus was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at a local hospital. The driver of the Semi was not injured.  The crash is under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
