One Person Deceased After Morning Crash

Details:

On Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at approximately 2:56 a.m., Allen County Police Officers responded to the 7300 Blk. of Leesburg Road, east of O’Day Road, for a crash involving a motorcycle.  Upon arriving, and after conducting the initial investigation, it was determined that the male driver and sole occupant of the motorcycle was traveling north-west on Leesburg Road, when for unknown reasons he went off of the north side of the roadway at the curve and struck the guard rail. The driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced deceased at the scene.   The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department. The identity of the deceased along with the cause and manner of death will be released by the Allen County Coroner.
