On June 22, 2018, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 18400 block of Monroeville Road at approximately 4:30 A.M. after a reported disturbance involving an armed subject.

Upon arrival, Officers found two victims with apparent stab wounds. Witnesses directed Officers to the suspect, who was still at the scene and he was taken into custody. Both victims were transported to a local hospital in serious condition. Both victims were downgraded to critical condition upon arrival the the hospital. One victim remains in critical condition, the second victim is listed in critical but stable condition.

The suspect taken into custody is 19 year old, Dakota Gebert. He faces two preliminary charges of Aggravated Battery, Level 3 felonies.

This incident remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
