Man Found Dead in 4000 Block of East Pettit Avenue

Details:

At approximately 11:38 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department was notified of an unresponsive Hispanic male laying in a yard in the 4000 block of east Pettit Ave.  Investigating officers arrived and found the individual to be deceased with an apparent gunshot wound.  The incident remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.  The identity, cause, and manner of death, will be determined and released by the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
