At approximately 2:55 P.M., officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 15000 block of Harber Road, near Yoder, Indiana, reference a possible person located in or near a wooded area.

The witness, who was working near the wooded area, reported the incident.

Officers and medics arrived on scene, where human remains were located. The Allen County Coroner’s Office also arrived at the scene.

This is an ongoing investigation. The race and sex of the remains are unknown at this time. The identity will be released by the Allen County Coroner’s Office when it is available.
