The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two vehicle crash that occurred at Grabill Road and Schwartz Road. At 1:25 p.m. on Monday July, 6, 2015, dispatch received a call in reference to the traffic crash. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with witnesses that said a passenger car was Northbound on Schwartz Road and a van was Westbound on Grabill Road. According to witnesses, the passenger car did not stop at the stop sign and stuck the van. The van rolled at least one time after being struck and the driver was trapped inside. Northeast Fire and EMS extricated the driver. Both drivers were adult females and solo occupants in each vehicle. Both drivers were transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
