 Allen County Sheriff’s Department Investigating Car/Semi Crash That Left 2 People Deceased.

Details:

The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two vehicle crash that occurred at the 293 mile marker of I-69.  At approximately 5:47 a.m. on Sunday, January 17, 2016, dispatch received a call of a car that had crossed the median and struck a semi.  The initial investigation has determined that a Chevrolet Impala was southbound on I-69 at the 293 mile marker when for unknown reasons, it crossed the center median and struck a northbound Semi truck. The Chevrolet was occupied by a male driver and female passenger that were both deceased at the scene.  The driver of the semi received a minor injury.  The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
