Allen County Sheriff’s Department Conducting Death Investigation
Details:
On Sunday, March 15th, at approximately 3:39 a.m., Allen County Police Officers responded to the 5300 block of Hursh road for a reported one car accident with injuries. Upon arriving and after conducting the initial investigation, it was determined that the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle had sustained secondary injuries not caused by the crash. That individual was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:11 a.m. The investigation also determined that a disturbance had occurred prior to the crash and a second victim was also transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries sustained during the disturbance. The incident is under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, Allen County Prosecutors Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office. Due to the nature of the investigation there is no other information being released at this time.
