Allen County Drug Task Force Shuts Down Meth Lab, Two People Arrested

Charges:              Dealing/Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Level 4 Felony, $50,000.00 Bond
Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony, $2,500.00 Bond
Unlawful Possession Syringe, Level 6 Felony, $2,500.00 Bond

DETAILS:

At approximately 6:15 a.m. this morning, the Allen County Swat Team assisted the Allen County Drug Task Force with the service of a search warrant at 833 Archer Avenue.  Acting on a tip from the DEA, the Allen County Drug Task Force conducted surveillance, developed leads and worked with the Allen County Prosecutors Office to obtain the search warrant.  During the raid, detectives found an active Methamphetamine Lab.  The Fort Wayne Methamphetamine Suppression Team assisted in the investigation and was called in to clean up the active lab. The Allen County Board of Health, Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control, and Neighborhood Code Enforcement were also called to assist after the raid.  Suspects were arrested and charged as detailed above.
