Event:              K-9 Graduation

 

     Allen County Sheriff’s Department Master K-9 Trainer, Robert L. Compton, Captain Shawn Lawhorn, Corporal Tyler Harris, Sheriff Kenneth C. Fries and Chief David Gladieux will present certificates to four graduating K-9 academy officers and their partners, on Friday, February 3, 2012 in the Allen County Courthouse Rotunda.

 

     The class has recently undergone 14-weeks of intense training and is certified in the areas of: Obedience Control, Evidence Search, Area Search, Building Search, Tracking and the Detection of Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin, Methamphetamine and Ecstasy. 

 

 

           

     The following officers have completed the 14 week K-9 academy:

 

Officer Kevin C. Surface and K-9 Blitz (Allen County Sheriff’s Department)

 

Officer Daniel A. Reynolds and K-9 Thor (Dayton, Ohio Police Department)

 

Deputy Paul M. Kubinski and K-9 Zyg (Kendall County, Illinois Sheriff’s Office)

 

Deputy David R. McVoy and K-9 Zeek (Huntington County Sheriff’s Department)
