Event:              SRO K-9 Graduation

 

           

     The Allen County Sheriff’s Department Master K-9 Trainer, Robert L. Compton, with assistance from K-9 Officer O. Scott Roberts, will help Sheriff Kenneth C. Fries present certificates to the graduating SRO/K-9 academy class at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2007.

 

     The class has undergone 6 weeks of intense training and is certified in Narcotics and Firearms Detection.  This will be the first graduating K-9 class in the nation geared specifically for School Resource Officers.  Officer Kevin Nehr and his K-9 partner Max will be the second SRO team in Allen County.  Officer Nehr is assigned to Carroll High School.

 

The following is a list of officers who will graduate and their respective departments:
