DETAILS:     On June 17, 2007, at 6:24 a.m. Allen County Sheriff's Officer Gerald Hogan attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a Silver Chevrolet Tahoe for speeding on I-69 at the 102 mile marker south bound.  The Tahoe refused to stop and a vehicle pursuit was initiated.  During the pursuit speeds were in excess of 100 miles per hour.  The driver of the Tahoe proceeded to throw items out of the driver's window, striking a pursuing Allen County Sheriff's vehicle.  The Allen County Sheriff's Department ended their pursuit at 6:53 a.m. as the Grant and Huntington County Sheriff's Departments (with the assistance of Fullerton Police) continued the chase from the 59 mile marker.  The suspect was then arrested at 7:00 a.m. in Grant County at county roads 525 East and 975 South in a bean field.  The suspect was arrested on Allen County charges for Auto Theft/Receiving Stolen Auto Parts, ($25,00.00 Bond), Resisting Arrest in a Vehicle ($25,00.00 Bond), and a warrant out of Paw Paw Michigan (No Bond).  Neither the suspect nor the officers sustained any injuries during this pursuit and no property was damaged/
