Details:

The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a one-vehicle crash/rollover that occurred on U.S. 24 East on the I-469 southbound ramp. The preliminary investigation indicates that at approximately 9:48 a.m. on   5-31-2007, an R & D semi tanker hauling #6 fuel oil was westbound on U.S. 24 East when the driver attempted to turn onto the I-469 southbound ramp.  The truck was going too fast and rolled onto its side and spilled approximately 300 gallons of the 6000 gallons of fuel oil it was transporting. The driver sustained minor injuries.  The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.

Details:

          The Allen County Sheriffs Department is investigating a one-vehicle crash that occurred in the 12000 block of Duglay Road in northwest Allen County. The preliminary investigation indicates that a 1992 Chevrolet Camaro was traveling westbound in the 12000 block of Duglay Road

when the driver left the roadway and struck a concrete bridge abutment.  The driver was flown from the scene to Parkview Hospital by the Samaritan in critical condition.  The crash remains under investigation by the F.A.C.T. Team and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.

Details:

          The Allen County Sheriffs Department is investigation a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Goshen Road between Johnson Road and Oday Road.   The preliminary investigation indicates that a turquoise 1992 Chevrolet passenger car was southbound on Goshen Roadwhen it crossed the center line and struck a silver 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck that was northbound.  The driver of the passenger car was deceased at the scene.  The driver of the pickup truck was flown to Parkview Hospital by Samaritan in B- condition.  The crash remains under investigation by the F.A.C.T. Team and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
