Warrants Division

Officers of the Allen County Sheriffs Department Warrants Division are responsible for the service of arrest warrants issued by the courts. Warrant service is accomplished regardless of the originating courts jurisdiction.

Warrants division is also responsible for serving mental health commitments and extradition of felons arrested in other states. Officers assigned to the division also cooperate with federal law enforcement agencies including participating in the U.S. Marshals service Operation Falcon, a nationwide effort to apprehend persons with felony warrants.

Warrants officers assist, as needed, other divisions of the department.
