Post Gun ban
There are several Sheriffs across the country standing up and speaking out against Obama's gun ban, refusing to enforce it, and making it unconstitutional. There is even a sheriff in Wisconsin urging residents to arm themselves. (see article in link below)

Where does Sheriff Fries and Allen County stand on this issue?

Sheriff Fries states:

When I was sworn on as a Police Officer with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, I swore to support the constitution of the United States and the constitution of the State of Indiana.

My oath and beliefs have not changed. I will support and enforce the individual freedoms afforded in our constitution. I was asked by a Chief of Police if I would participate in a gun amnesty day. I told him no.

I will not ask people to give up their second amendment rights. That is something Liberals believe in, not me. I have said an armed society is a polite society.
